Few things in the world are more pleasant than sitting down with your lady downing a cup of joe. 'Cept for me, I like my "sitting downs" with a cup of light tea. Personal preference really, even though coffee's like, the "in" thing now - Tea-o Kosong will always hit the right notes for me.
You know, I had this project once with the lady, and I told her that I was going to take a photo of her every time she sits down, chilling out, to have coffee with me. This started in Triple Three, at that swank buffet place at Orchard, where she took a swig of her coffee after a satisfying meal. Eventually, we had a whole bunch of photos which she insists catches her most un-photogenic side. She has warned me, on pain of death, never to release those photos. But this one's nice enough, IMO.
Here, we were at the Coffee Club at Millenia, which used to be a really nice and quiet place. Now, it's shifted to the entrance of the building - perhaps in a bid to get more shop frontage. I guess it worked - it's a lot more crowded now. But it's not at a critical mass where the crowd becomes distastefully large, so it's still rather pleasant to sit down and chill.
We talked about the wedding, and marriage life - something that has us all exhilarated and giddy! I mean, it's incredibly exciting; it's already March, and I feel like I'm not doing enough to get ready. Tough enough that everyone's got an opinion about how to do it best, and even tougher that there's not much support in terms of family backing. We both agreed that we would remain resolute on our course, lest the Lord wills and directs differently. We're going to need as much help as we can get, and who better to steer and to guide but the Lord.
I'm tired, gentle reader, and I ought to get some rest.
Seeya soon,
~Adrian.
