Eating Solids
I tell you, it is the most adorable thing feeding a little baby solids. You'll end up feeding various areas on his face (like, his forehead) because he dodges the spoon and does wing-chun like sparring with you while you feed him. We got the shot above while he was VERY hungry, caring only for the payload of pumpkin to reach his mouth.
He's Also Teething
It's a whole bumper harvest of David goodness this week, because he's just turned 6 months (YES! 6 months already!) on the 20th of February. He's right on time with a whole bunch of new things he'll be starting to do, including his first teeth ever. We saw a few unmistakable white spots on the lower portion of his gum, which our buddies the Au-Yongs took pictures of. We hope they come out nicely.
Strange Thing That Happened to Me The Other Day
I've been trying to come to terms with a situation I've had to face over the past week. I'm not ready to talk about it now because it involves a company (which makes me liable for a legal smackdown for libel or something) so I'll just say that it's a unfortunate turn of events. In the end, I've come to accept that humanity is bound by the same limitations that everyone faces, and that there is only so much one can do with 24 hours in a day. Me, I'm content to spend that making dreams come true and my family and loved ones happy. Those are my unshakable and uncompromised priorities.
The Day Relaxing
The wife was just remarking that today was the first day I had fun in a long, long time. I couldn't agree more. I've not had much of a break for ages, and secretly, I've been yearning for it. I've not had much time to catch a breather for myself, but I'm glad I did today. Had great buddies to spend it with too. Thanks Au-Yongs, you guys made my day excellent-est :)
