[okay, edit's finally in. It's Wednesday, I know. I'd blame technology - but I guess I won't. I was having my first headache-free evening in a week. Bleh.]
The Weekends
It was a good weekend of slowing down, as blogger David Bohl once told me about. I spent a good time doing my reading homework, and I'm about 90% through this HUMONGOUS fiction epic by Ayn Rand, called "Atlas Shrugged" (you probably heard of it). It's an eye-watering 1200 pages long (it's about 80,000 when converted to the eBook) but it's proving to be an interesting read. Apparently, very timely too.
Parenthood
I discovered, by process of a discreet survey, that apart from a buddy of mine (who should be equally proud to know as he reads this) I number among a rare breed of Dads who know how to clean up after a baby's poo-poo. To the uninitiated, this process requires:
- 2 - 3 wet wipes (depending on skill level, less will be needed),
- Diaper cream (About a 5cent coin of Desitin works for me)
- A new diaper (Preferably)
- Possible change in clothing (He sprays when he has the runs.)
- Dangling baby boy by two limbs as you wash him up. (Skill level: HIGH)
Have You Checked Out the MCYS Ad?
Yup. The funeral one. Here it is. There's a really thoughtful wedding video spoof that the friends of a couple did. I'm glad to see things like that happening.
Okay, off I go. Work's calling.
