He's Becoming a Little Gentleman

David is finally turning 1 and I think he is really glad.

It isn't easy getting him into this suit as he is a really wriggly boy. We are glad for the results. A gentleman at last. :)

These days we are trying to help little David learn some table manners.

He is starting to put his foot on the table when we are eating. In the dining areas, he loves what we are eating and is not afraid to "verbally and physically" ask for it. (He will flap his arms and legs and creating such an earthquake that we are afraid that the Combi will give way.)

It's a process but David does have a habit of smiling cheekily to get away with things. I wonder where he learns it from. :P

Saliva Beard!

He's started to bubble his drool. If you can make it out in this picture, you can see it's forming a beard!

He stood like, for 5 minutes posing for us while took photos.

There's Something In The Milk

That he's absolutely addicted to. He now needs it to fall asleep, even if it means a couple of mouthfuls.

We've got to wean him off it soon. It's good to see him taking to savory food well. I wish I took that picture of him slurping down that toufu just earlier. (a little bit of soy sauce goes a long way)

Yup. We've got to get him off his milk. If he doesn't scream the house down first.

Playing With Mirrors

He's getting busy these days playing with mirrors.

Apart from making us turn the whole house into his playpen, he's quickly turning the floor into his dining table. There's dry bits of porridge all over the living room.

We'd complain, but it's so fun feeding him solids, now that he's more receptive.

Can't wait till he chows down on his first steak. Hehe.

Getting Well

Another visit to the doctors today, looks like things are on the way to improving. He's still plenty fussy though, keeping us up most of last night.

So here he is with his mummy, slumping on her chest, catching a nap for lost sleep last night.

Hopefully it'll all turn around by Sunday. Phew. Thanks for all the concern everyone, we do appreciate it.

Everyone's Asleep Now

I'm in absolute darkness, lying beside a tired lady and an exhausted 7 month old. We've got him on 2 doses now on the machine (I can't spell it now) which took a lot out of us. I really hope he starts to get better.

He's lost quite a bit of weight. Not as cherubic as he was a couple of weeks back.

Our Little Hero Brushes His Own Teeth

He's just learned how to brush his teeth (all two of them). He grabs the brush excitely and goes at it with passion.

Makes us proud, he does. :)
